Hypnotherapy really can help with weight loss*. It is a subject that is really close to my heart. You know that I am super slim Tamsin Cooper the Hypnotherapist but there are a couple of things you maybe don’t know.
As the world celebrated at the end of the last century I was recently divorced and weighing about twelve and a half stone. As I sat at Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth, where I lived, I felt so low and alone, the only soul on the beach watching the first sunrise of the new millennium, I was living a hermit life just not wanting to be with people. I felt fat and I hated the way that I looked. I was a size 18.
One of the things that made me even sadder about the way that I looked was that I had also been a model when I was younger. I was constantly comfort eating things like chips, chocolate, and especially biscuits. I didn’t really eat proper meals at all and I felt rubbish, so I decided I wanted to change things.
There are all sorts of ways that people try to lose weight and although being overweight is bad for your health it is really important that you lose weight at a safe and steady pace. Diet pills are certainly not the answer which can have very dangerous side effects and have even been linked to deaths.
Some people believe that extreme exercise is the way to lose weight and sign up for boot camp like experiences. It is completely true that to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you eat but short lived regimes are not the answer, because you simply put the weight back on later.
You may have heard of people having hospital operations for something called a Surgical Gastric Band or a Gastric Sleeve. It restricts the capacity of your stomach, so that you eat less and, over time, lose weight. However, it does not stop you eating unhealthy food or make you exercise more. As a result many people put the weight back on in a few short years.
The only way is to make small changes so that you lose weight successfully and keep it off. As a Clinicaal Hypnotherapist I can help you change your relationship with food with something completely different… a Virtual Gastric Band. It is not surgery. There is no operation…but using gentle hypnotherapy I will help you decide to eat just a little bit less.
I helped Ruanne from Bedfordshire with my Virtual Gastric Band Hypnotherapy. Ruanne has now lost over 6 stone. She is fitter, slimmer, and a lot happier. On her testimonial video on this website she says, “I was over 20 stone and I was convinced I could never lose weight. I wanted a hospital operation but my father begged me not to…”
On my hypnotherapy testimonials page you will see other videos from people who have all lost weight with hypnotherapy. Paula, also from Bedfordshire struggled for years but has now lost weight with my Virtual Gastric Band. She says she feels “happier and healthier.”
Until next time.
