MK Dons were promoted to the Championship at the end of the 2014/15 football season. It was a fantastic season for the Dons who won promotion on the last day of the season after scoring over a hundred goals in the league but right now seem to be struggling.
So what is the problem and how could I help?
Can MK Dons score goals?
For their first match in the championship they travelled to Rotherham and smashed 4 goals past them. MK Dons can score goals, a fact that Man Utd can testify to. Few will forget them hammering the great Man Utd at Stadium MK...
MK Dons can score goals.
Is it the Manager?
Karl Robinson is the same manager who oversaw MK Dons score over 100 goals in the league and gained promotion to the second flight of English Football. I could certainly help Karl with a temper that has in the past seen him banned from the touchline but he can certainly do the job.
Is it the stadium?
MK Dons have what is quite possibly the best stadium in the league. The disabled access for fans is second to none and the facilities are great. It's not the stadium.
Is it the chairman?
Pete Winkleman is the most football mad and enthusiastic chairman you are ever going to meet and he was recently awarded the freedom of the city of Milton Keynes. He does a superb job of balancing the books with a limited budget and is the best chairman in the country.
So what is the problem?
I haven't had the pleasure of working with the team but they're playing bigger teams than they are used to such as Birmingham, Nottingham Forrest, Cardiff, and Leeds - a team they were more than good enough to beat if you ask the fans who were there.
MK Dons have the talent and all the tools to beat many of the teams in that league. They certainly have the ability to climb up the table one game at a time.
My message to MK Dons is simple.
- Believe in your ability.
- Believe in the proven ability of both yourself and the team as a whole.
- Remember how you felt as Carl Baker rocketed the ball into the back of the net against Leyton Orient in the last minute of THAT game.
- As you stand in front of goal see yourself scoring. Do not doubt for one moment. Trust yourself.
- Let the chants from The Cowshed and around the ground drive you on to success after success.
- You are as good if not better than all of the teams around you. You were promoted.
- Confidence at all times.
Remember, confidence is the key to all things in life. I have helped many people with stress, anxiety, and confidence. I could help MK Dons, and I could help you too.
UPDATE 19/01/2016: Today MK Dons beat Northampton 3 - 0 in the FA Cup and get to play Chelsea at home, a game that will be shown live on TV
